Welcome to Laveen Elementary School, proud home of the Hawks. We're a pre-kindergarten and K-8 school in The Valley of The Sun. We are located in the Phoenix Metropolitan area; specifically in the extremely fast growing southwest portion of Phoenix. We strive hard to meet goals and education standards, and work hard to improve our skills in reading, writing, and math. With just over 700 students total, our moderate-sized school and small class sizes encourage learning and exploration. We take great responsibility to teach your students the best we have to offer every day.

Our thoughtful and caring teachers know the potential of every boy and girl. We'll take good care of your children and prepare their minds. You can help your son or daughter be successful at Laveen Elementary School by doing the following:

• Make sure they are on time to school.
• Remind your child to do their personal best.
• Reinforce the six pillars of Character Counts (Caring, Responsibility, Trustworthiness, Respect, Fairness, and Citizenship).
• Create a routine at home where students can do their homework (every grade level assigns homework).
• Have your students read every day.
