Welcome...

Welcome to Laveen Elementary School, proud home of the Hawks. We're a pre-kindergarten and K-8 school in The Valley of The Sun. We are located in the Phoenix Metropolitan area; specifically in the extremely fast growing southwest portion of Phoenix. We strive hard to meet goals and education standards, and work hard to improve our skills in reading, writing, and math. With just over 700 students total, our moderate-sized school and small class sizes encourage learning and exploration. We take great responsibility to teach your students the best we have to offer every day.

Our thoughtful and caring teachers know the potential of every boy and girl. We'll take good care of your children and prepare their minds. Please spend a few moments in this site to stay familiar with the school, its calendar and events, helpful links, or anything else that interests you. Enjoy your browse and please come back often!

A Message from our Principal

Dear Parents,

We are pleased to announce Laveen Elementary School earned a Performing Plus achievement profile for the second year in a row! We attribute our continued success to the partnership we have created between the community and the school.

In addition, Laveen Elementary School continues to receive positive recognition from the community. Within the past year, our school received the following recognition:

  • A+ Finalist
  • Award from the Arizona Public Relations Association
  • KEZ Teacher of the Month
  • KNIX Teacher of the Month

You can help your son or daughter be successful at Laveen Elementary School by doing the following:

  • Make sure they are on time to school.
  • Remind your child to do their personal best.
  • Reinforce the six pillars of Character Counts (Caring, Responsibility, Trustworthiness, Respect, Fairness, and Citizenship).
  • Create a routine at home where students can do their homework (every grade level assigns homework).
  • Have your students read every day.

Sincerely,

Joe Roselle Ph.D.
